Price Changes Coming May 1, 2026 — What to Know

To our valued customers and friends,

Some of you may be aware that over the last several months, the price of precious metals has risen dramatically. This has affected us across several of our product categories, most notably items manufactured in tungsten or those that are gold plated.

We have always sought to be transparent with our customer base, as we know that without you, we would not exist as a company. These cost increases have impacted us and will continue to do so. We have always worked to offer our customers a fair value and remain competitive in the marketplace, and we will continue to do so.

With that being said, due to these rising costs, we will be increasing prices effective May 1st on product categories made of tungsten or plated with real gold. This will affect our gold-plated jigs, including our Round Head Jigs, Strobe Jigs, and Gold Back series of ice lures. It will also affect all of our tungsten items, most notably our Mission Tackle Heavy Metal series of tungsten jigs and searchbaits.

On May 1st, we will be increasing the cost of many of our gold-plated items by 10–20% to reflect the increased cost of plating. We will also be increasing our Heavy Metal series of Tru Tungsten by 10–25%. We are providing this notice in advance to give you the opportunity to purchase these items before the price increase.

You may notice that some Heavy Metal tungsten items are currently out of stock. We have additional shipments arriving in April and expect to be restocked on most items before the end of the month. We appreciate your patience if certain items are temporarily unavailable.

Additionally, while gold has leveled off and decreased slightly in price, tungsten prices continue to rise. The prices we are currently charging for our tungsten products were set last summer/fall of 2025, and current material costs are now more than double what our retail pricing reflects. Because tungsten is used in national defense and is considered a strategic material, prices may not decrease in the near future, if at all. For those of you who use tungsten, please keep in mind that next year’s pricing may be significantly higher.
